The Politburo on Ballistic Terms?

The Soviet Politburo has entered a potential deadlock as it begins to divide into two major blocs, one being for the suppression of internal riots and the other for the containment of further attacks into the region. Caucasus, a region rich in oil which has proved to be exceedingly beneficial for Russia’s economy, has been captured and infiltrated by the Nazi troops. News has also arrived that Stalin, the supreme leader, has withdrawn without notice, a large sum of money from the economic reserves of Russia.

Discontentment has risen within the politburo and the population due to his actions.

Morale of the army has decreased rapidly ,with them condemning the actions of leaders in the politburo, and further protection of the nation is at stake. The state bank providing financial support to produce arms and ammunition and also to increase nuclear research and aviation has been stopped for it has been plundered. It is now in a dilemma whether to provide economic support to either one of nuclear and aviation projects promotion or mass production of arms and ammunition, both being crucial for suppressing the advancing Nazis. The committee has come up with effective directives in order to both drive away Nazi troops from the region and the reduce the possibility of riots in Moscow.

Supreme leader Stalin was present in the politburo today and vigorous discussions had been underway to keep things on track and The public was assured repeatedly to have trust and faith in mother Russia and that the red army would be victorious even if hell itself were to break loose. Victory to the motherland!
