RBSMUN, Is it as impressive as everyone describes it to be? Or is it overrated? With the thirteenth Model United Nations Conference in action, find out the publics opinion on how RBSMUN is going year so far.
International Delegates:
The Doon School: In comparison to our MUNs in India, RBSMUN has been very liberal. The committee has a friendly atmosphere with amiable delegates and approachable dias members. This is a beneficial platform to explore and learn more on MUN and we’re glad to be a part of it.
Cathedral and John Connon School: Although, beginning with a rocky start, the ambience of RBSMUN has been magnificent. The whole campus has been decorated really nice. The debate has been decent and better than the last time I came here. “Nazi pigs are gonna be slaughtered!”
National Delegates:
Malpi International School: RBSMUN is going smoothly like we had expected. We have taken part in multiple mun conferences and this has been the best among the rest.
Patan Secondary School: This is my very first MUN experience. And for a first timer like me “ramrai bhairaheko jasto lagcha”. I’m learning various skills and it’s a very fun experience.
RBS Delegates:
This year RBS delegates have different opinions regarding our MUN. RBSMUN has had very engaging debates and has been enjoyable. However, a delegate of UNSC says “ I will cry with how everything is going like in the committee”. And another delegate says, “jhyau lagiracha”
Logistics:
Head of Logistics: As the head of Logistics, RBSMUN has been really hectic but really fun. I haven’t gotten a break but im not really complaining.
Members of Logistics: RBSMUN is going as expected. The day before MUN had been really stressful and frantic but our hard work has paid off. Comparing to the days we spent preparing for this MUN, today has been relatively calm and its strangely unnerving.
Teachers:
As a teacher I am very impressed with the knowledge the students have as well as the conviction with which the delegates speak with. The best part of this day is probably still the teachers in blue!
